@Jion - agreed. Pullback would be expected after such a quick gain, but the stock has - and can - hang in there well. On a related note, a couple of emails I received today asked about some clown posts on the Yahoo! message boards posted by a VFC wannabe - my followers should know that I do not use the Yahoo! message boards, so take what you see there for what it's worth. Just a couple of wannabees living it up. And I take it as flattery that they want to be me. No life like the good life, I like to say.
I know this is one of the rhetorical questions that I'm not supposed to answer, but here's a few probable answers:
- they put politics and party before people, - they are inept, - there is no pressure for them to act because they do not live and play by the same rules that we do, - they put theatrics, drama and attention before results in order to have their names in the news for political and popularity purposes...
AND because the voters keep rewarding these clowns for their ineptitude and inaction with multiple tours in Washington, so they have little incentive to be productive.
Agreed. I also believe that Sandy may have been the final piece of the puzzle for those looking to build and invest in stand-alone energy sources off the national and regional grids.

Yes, still long $SGYP, although I did take advantage of the most recent run with some trading shares, too.
In regards to $AMRN, can't help but believe that if the FDA was set to deny, they would have done so by now. There is the other possibility, however, that the AMRN legal team is putting up quite the fight.
Still long, though, although I'll take advantage of some modest trading ops when I can.
The intricacies of these comments aside, the actions of hiring a robust sales force and raising of $100 million in preparation for a commercial launch is worth more than any comments the company may make to keep the hopes of investors alive for the short term. Yes, we believe the company is still pursuing a partnership and/or buyout, but sometimes actions speak louder than words. It also doesn't help that the Amarin CEO talked up a buyout a couple of years ago, too, and sent shares to twenty bucks when he said his company "had more suitors than employees." That never panned out and unfortunately that also set the standard for the current investor skepticism.
