Villi Grdovich is a professional investor with a strong interest in fundamental and quantitative financial analysis. His major interest is in providing independent consulting services to the Fund Management industry.
I was a fund manager of European Equities for 10 years at Newton Investment Management in London. I recently founded StockViews.com, a social network that connects investors with analysts and encourages debate around individual stocks. I still keep my hand in the market and contribute both to StockViews and to Seeking Alpha. I also dedicate a large amount of my time to educating investors through StockViews Campus and via a mentorship program for university students. In the fall I will be touring a number of US universities to deliver a series of seminars on investing. You can find out more about me via my blog: http://blog.stockviews.com
I am a value investor to the greatest extent possible. I also favor dividend stocks. I try to be a buy-and-hold investor, but sometimes I can't avoid the tempation to ring the register or to accumulate the inevitable tax loss. The main thing I have learned is that I have lost more money by selling too soon than for any other reason. I reside in Henderson, NV.
Just and old broken-down retired Navy helicopter pilot. Currently work in the DC area as a senior military analyst for various and sundry Beltway bandits.
Traded my first stock in 1966; four shares of Chrysler.
I am blessed with an "above fleet average" memory and have greatly benefited over the years from taking the long view; particularly when others seem to panic.
