William Kirksey is an investor and research writer based in North Carolina and in New York. He is also an inventor and holds numerous U.S. Patents. Accordingly, he is particularly interested in companies that have proprietary intellectual property positions. Kirksey studied economics at Duke University (three years) and languages at Guildford College (one year). He holds a B.A. from the latter institution. Kirksey also completed all the course work for an MBA in finance at New York University although did not complete his Masters Thesis due to the abrupt April closure of the University as a protest to the Nixon invasion of Cambodia.
