Friday, November 11, 2011, 9:29 AM ETNasdaq scores a win in the fight with the NYSE over stock listings, as Viacom (VIA.B) will make the switch, saying the move will be “more cost-effective.” So far this year, NYSE has grabbed nine Nasdaq-listed firms, including Level 3 and IMAX, while Nasdaq had settled for just one company from NYSE Amex and a spinoff of NYSE-listed Cablevision.
