    In what could be troubling news for its peers, cable provider Cox Communications says it will discontinue its mobile phone service on March 30, citing strong competition and an inability to obtain popular devices such as the iPhone. Comcast (CMCSA), Time Warner Cable (TWC), and Cablevision (CVC) have at best seen moderate success for their mobile offerings.
