    LivingSocial plans to step away (audio) from local deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday to offer national deals from major retailers. The firm's goal is to provide consumers with irresistible offers on the site on those days that will provide vouchers to help drive them back to brick-and-mortar or online stores in the crucial Nov. 28 to Dec 31 shopping period. Partners for the promotion include SFLY, SKX, OMX, VZ, and  NILE.

    What they are trying to say is LivingSocial is a coupons site. And they wanna work with bigger players. Mom and pop must not be biting LivingSocial's irresistible offer.
