When said "R&D" takes place in China, it's what we in the West refer to as "Theft", "Corporate & Cyber Espionage", "Copyright, Patent and Trademark Infringement".
But let also point out that Chinese firms are preparing for the long haul.... American multi-nationals fire 10% of R&D to meet next quarters .27 earnings. Meanwhile Chinese firms build for the future!
And we wonder where the jobs are at?
