The first PC graphics processors based on Nvidia's (NVDA) Kepler architecture, once expected to arrive by year's end, won't be available until March 2012, according to a Japanese site. The first Kepler graphics cards aren't expected until April, putting them 3 months behind the due date for cards based on AMD's Southern Islands graphics chips. Both sets of chips rely on TSMC's (TSM) 28nm technology.

  • Good old NVDA.

They're going to push to get something, anything out the door as soon as possible. Probably a handful of cherry picked chips running overvolted and extremely hot so as not to lose their performance halo.
