Tuesday, November 29, 2011, 1:57 PM ETThe first PC graphics processors based on Nvidia's (NVDA) Kepler architecture, once expected to arrive by year's end, won't be available until March 2012, according to a Japanese site. The first Kepler graphics cards aren't expected until April, putting them 3 months behind the due date for cards based on AMD's Southern Islands graphics chips. Both sets of chips rely on TSMC's (TSM) 28nm technology.

They're going to push to get something, anything out the door as soon as possible. Probably a handful of cherry picked chips running overvolted and extremely hot so as not to lose their performance halo.
