In a positive for OLED technology firm Universal Display (NASDAQ:PANL), DigiTimes reports major Chinese and Taiwanese display panel makers, including AUO, plan to boost their development and production of AMOLED panels in 2012, in order to keep pace with Samsung and LG Display (NYSE:LPL).
