    Even as BP and Halliburton (HAL) team up to block the use of government reports in civil suits against them, they remain at each others' throats otherwise. In a filing today at a New Orleans court, BP accuses Halliburton of intentionally destroying test results and suppressing computer models that could reveal it to be partly responsible for the Deepwater Horizon disaster. Halliburton filed suit against BP in September.

  • Great idea, let's simply emulate the style of government that has proved to so successful in places like Zimbabwe, Venezuela and Argentina. Who needs jobs and economic growth anyway.

  • This too shall pass. Halliburton has been around forever. Once all the negative news of Macondo dies down, it will be business as usual, and the shareholders can relax. I am long HAL and RIG.
