    New York Times (NYT) CEO Janet Robinson will retire at the end of the year. Board chair Arthur Sulzberger, Jr. will take over on an interim basis as the company begins "an internal and external search" for a new boss.

    Since there is no successor in place, this sounds more like fire than retire.
