Nomura analyst Paul Jejuez, after a weekend surveying malls, is concerned - "You have to be at 40% off to drive traffic."

A part human-part border collie member of the family who ALWAYS has to work 3 jobs is doing 2 of them at the local chic-chic mall. Their traffic has dropped to almost nill, because they've sold almost EVERYTHING off their shelves in the two stores. Family member says they could have done so much more business if parent company had sent them more inventory.
Make of this what you will. I personally think the market is overvalued, but the printing machines have been printing a long time and some of it seems to be trickling back. Certainly is in beaten down Florida where every schmoe said he could wait to buy a foreclosure.... now there are 5 or 6 for every house available. All pissed off, refusing to accept they missed the bottom.
