The Justice Department will end restrictions on the one-pill version of morning-after emergency contraception. Until recently, only women aged at least 17 could buy the pill without a prescription. The decision comes after an appeals court said last week that an older two-pill version should be available over the counter on an unlimited basis. Companies affected include Teva (TEVA), Perrigo (PRGO) and Actavis (ACT). (previous)
