    Pinnacle Financial Partners (PNFP) decides to redeeem 25% of the preferred shares the firm issued to Uncle Sam under TARP for a total amount of $23.9M. The bank holding company says that it expects to receive approval for the redemption of its balance of TARP preferred shares over the next year or so.

  • Here we go...another TARP bailout "success story". While the rest of us without bailouts suffer. What type of system do we have where we pick and choose losers and winners. The bankers win, the middle class loses. Every and any politician who voted to bail these corrupt bankers out needs to be held accountable this election cycle. People like Senator Orrin Hatch from Utah, who insists he's conservative, all while voting for TARP and 16 debt ceiling increases...you can't make this stuff up.
