Thursday, January 5, 2012, 10:59 AM ETMarvell (MRVL) announces its ARM-based (ARMH) ARMADA processors have been designed into the latest Google TV (GOOG) hardware, displacing Intel (INTC) chips in the process. Intel stated in October it was shutting down a division that developed Atom chips for the set-top box market. Eric Schmidt has said he expects Google TV to be in the majority of TV sets on sale by summer, though that may prove a tall order.
