Maybe this time when they go belly up we'll all get a VOLT instead of a car voucher or shares.....
Oh? Never mind.
If the government can mandate the purchase of healthcare, why not the Volt?
There's no reason the government can't mandate that you buy a Volt if they can mandate that you have to have health insurance, today, with "choices," tomorrow with only a government-monopoly "option."
I find the wording of the posting to be telling: the copywriter assumes that "regulators" need to be satisfied so that production can be "ramped up" to satisfy whom? Certainly free consumers pursuing happiness aren't in that equation.
The governemmnt won't "mandate" you buy a Volt, they'll just put so many regulations on every other car that you'll have no choice.
Think, $2000 a year to register any car but a Volt and $20 to register a Volt. There, that was easy.
Well duh. If he didn't say that he'd find himself is some unpronounceable acronym agency with basement offices. It's nice to have the referees playing on your team.
