Wednesday, January 25, 2012, 6:49 PM ETH-P (HPQ) continues its efforts to drum up enthusiasm for webOS, now less than an afterthought in the mobile OS space. H-P says it will open-source webOS, which it surprisingly refused to sell, by fall, and is also introducing version 2.0 of its Enyo software, which allows developers to build apps that can be exported to multiple platforms. Unfortunately, plenty of competition exists on that front as well.
