    The board granted the request??? The board should have told the CEO he will not be getting an increase, not the other way around.

  • I suspect LLY will be bought within the next 2 years. I dont see profits growing and the maximization of shareholder value in my mind points to this conclusion.

    I hope I am wrong and wish LLY and its employees well. Some things taken in a longer term perspective seem obvious.

  • Well, such is no surprise. Worker compensation has been declining in real terms for years now, so this is just a continuation of the trend.
