A popular 2011 trade resurfaces, with the spread between Brent crude (BNO) and WTI crude (USO) doubling to more than $18/barrel in 5 weeks (as low as $5 in 2011, it peaked at $27). With plenty of Libyan oil back on the market, it's Iran, Syria, and the continuing glut in the U.S. Midwest pushing the divergence.
