EU shares rise following PMIs
- EU shares turn mostly positive following flash PMI data out the eurozone that showed that business activity has increased in September, with the services print rising but the manufacturing reading falling.
- China's increasing manufacturing PMI may also be affecting the mood, as might the German election results, which handed Angela Merkel a strong win but also gave her coalition complications.
- EU Stoxx 50 +0.1%, London -0.1%, Paris +0.3%, Frankfurt +0.1%, Madrid +0.1%, Milan +0.15%.
