5 years after YouTube (NASDAQ:GOOG) took off, U.S. online video use is still growing rapidly. According to comScore, 43.5B videos were streamed in the U.S. in December, up 44% Y/Y. Moreover, average video length and the ratio of ads to videos continue to rise. Google's sites (mostly YouTube) accounted for 50.4% of all views. Hulu only accounted for 1.8%, but as its revenue growth shows, it accounts for a larger chunk of ad revenue. (previously)
