The first year of implementation could cost $1.2B, with worldwide profit pegged at $3.5B this year, and there's the possibility that costs could "balloon" in future years.

I posit this question: If reducing the "carbon footprint" of individuals and nations is an effective way to lower global temperatures in order to combat "global warming," if the "settled science" shows that in fact there is "global cooling," shouldn't we be flipping the switch about now and expanding our "carbon footprint?"
