Friday, February 17, 2012, 9:26 AM ETOpenwave (OPWV) +11.4% following a Wedbush note speculating "patent troll" Acacia Research (ACTG) might soon make a bid for the wireless IP holder. The firm notes Acacia recently raised $225M in a stock offering, and has said it's exploring a major acquisition. Openwave, which recently adopted a poison pill, surged in November after striking a patent licensing deal with Microsoft.
