Friday, February 17, 2012, 10:15 AM ETOppneheimer reiterates an Outperform on SanDisk (SNDK) following its 2012 analyst day (slides - PDF), and praises its acquisition of solid-state drive (SSD) caching software firm FlashSoft. Oppenheimer expects NAND flash manufacturers such as SNDK and MU to develop an edge in the SSD market relative to third-party vendors such as OCZ and STEC, by opting to keep high-performance NAND chips for themselves.
