    Amazon Web Services (AWS), which is now believed to pull in over $1B in annual revenue, is rolling out a service that allows developers to more quickly build apps relying on AWS. The service moves AWS beyond its traditional focus on nuts-and-bolts cloud infrastructure, and could be evidence Amazon (AMZN) plans to more directly compete with PaaS solutions such as CRM's Force.com and MSFT's Azure.
