  • What an incredible experience. Adam Feuerstein of The Street guided over 14,000 through the panel review process on a live blog ending with a thrilling crescendo of surprise votes 20-Yes 2-No. He did a magnificent job describing what each panelist said and intelligently and with humor opined minute by minute. Adam is a real asset to investors. Superbly done! And the most exciting part: Qnexa recommended for approval!!!! WOW! This is a big, big deal!!

  • The next speculation will be the market for the drug once approved. The company has a fairly small capitalization compared to the market potential for this. Knowing what Viagra did for Pfizer, it will be much larger an influence on the stock price for VVUS.

  • My shout-out goes to EXPStocktrader who was the voice of reason over the last few weeks. Not Adam - he poo-poo'ed the stock saying it didn't have a chance. I will agreee he did a great job blogging the panel discussion yesterday.

What to do now? Hold a 100% gain in anticipation of more or get out and move on to the next one?

  • A dilemma, yes! Take the money now or hold on for the gains sure to come. Thinking I'll stay. Some profit taking presently but did see upgrades from Brean Murray and Rodman & Renshaw. I am fairly new at investing but see a good thing even if for only a stretch till April when the FDA approves -- or not. Seems unlikely it won't approve but anything can happen!! Sitting tight here,

  • re Adam. Awwwww, come on, let's give him a break. Bad enough he has to eat humble pie for awhile on this. I've come to the conclusion NO ONE can predict how the panels or FDA will move which is why I didn't let Adam affect my instinct, or risky behavior! Perhaps he did us all a favor by putting a damper on our high hopes. It could have gone the other way!!
