Tuesday, February 28, 2012, 9:20 AM ETWal-Mart (WMT), which launched its Vudu streaming service in July, is in talks with Hollywood studios to provide an in-store service to help customers sign up for UltraViolet, which gives consumers a means to stream DVD content they've legally purchased. The hassles produced by UltraViolet's DRM technology have limited uptake thus far. It's been rumored Amazon (AMZN) is also in talks to support UltraViolet.
