Mayor Rahm Emanuel and environmental groups win a deal in Chicago to close down two coal-fired power plants earlier than expected. The operator of the plants - Edison International's (EIX -0.6%) Midwest Generation - will have the option to overhaul the plants to burn natural gas under the terms of the deal.
