    The new iPad (AAPL) is announced. In-line with expectations, the device features a retina display (2048x1536 resolution), 4G LTE support, and A5X processor - Apple boasts the quad-core chip is 4x as fast as Nvidia's (NVDA) Tegra 3. Also included is a 5MP "iSight" camera that possibly features an OmniVision (OVTI +2.3%) image sensor.

  • i was more surprised to see the ipad2 price drop to 400$. that will get a lot of units moving too. im not sure if that is new, but i just noticed it today.
