Tuesday, March 13, 2012, 2:13 PM ETSpeculation an "iPad Mini" will be introduced this year (I, II, III) intensifies after an unnamed Samsung (SSNLF.PK) official says "Apple is planning to release a smaller iPad, probably with a 7.85-inch screen." It's added Apple (AAPL) could buy $11B worth of displays and chips from Samsung this year (up from 2011's $7.8B), in spite of the intense competition and dozens of legal battles that exist between the companies.
