    Chevron (CVX) suspends its shale gas exploration in Romanian due to widespread concerns in the nation over the risk of hydraulic fracturing. The company says that over the next year its only activity in the region will be seismic data surveying.

    What is Romania, a second- or third-world country? That means they're poor, right? And they care more about their water quality and environment than people in West Virginia and Pennsylvania? What in the world does that say about Americans?
