Firms are said to be posting utilization rates in the 70%-90% range - a positive for an industry hit hard by oversupply. The report could be contributing to the healthy performance of Taiwan's SemiLEDs (LEDS +2.3%); U.S. rival Cree (CREE -4.2%) is following the tech sector lower.
