Thursday, April 5, 2012, 11:18 AM ETTalks have soured between Vimpelcom (VIP -1.2%) and Algeria over the future of the Djezzy mobile telecom business after Algeria fined Djezzy's boss $1.25B, Reuters reports. The two sides had been close to concluding a deal under which the Algerian state would have acquired from VIP a 51% stake in Algeria-based Djezzy.
