McKesson (MCK) confirms the Department of Veterans Affairs has selected the company to continue...

    McKesson (MCK) confirms the Department of Veterans Affairs has selected the company to continue as its prime pharmaceutical supplier. The two-year agreement calls for MCK to supply all of the VA's medical centers and outpatient clinics, as well as its Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacies. Shares +4.5% AH.

    Because the VA is allowed to negotiate with drug companies they save many , many millions of dollars on drugs for veterans. As proof that no good deed goes unpunished !! Medicare is not allowed - by law passed by Congress - to do the same ?!?! Suggest that you contact your congressman !
