    Total (TOT -2.5%) says it's making significant progress in stopping the gas leak on well G4 on its Elgin platform. The company said two rigs are being mobilized for the drilling of relief wells and all operations to stop the leak are progressing according to plan.

    TOT has been a significant money maker for me the last few years, but I've removed it from my trade list until this problem is much closer to a solution. No need to take a risk on what has always been a vertually no risk equity.
