Tuesday, April 17, 2012, 9:37 AM ETBOE Governor King may be writing a new explanation letter in May after U.K. inflation unexpectedly rose to 3.5% in March (core rose to 2.5%). For the record, "temporarily" high inflation has been above the bank's 2% target for several years (above 3% for 28 months). Maybe his next letter could define when temporary becomes ingrained.
