And so if we buy a Focus EV, we are buying a $24M car and a $15M battery pack. And for that, we get a tiny car to drive around in and recharge a battery on a regular basis. And then hope after warranty, that we never have to replace the battery. I don't think so. I just wonder who are these powerful forces that are determined to change things to their liking and use taxpayer funded incentives to accomplish them. Even if that money is simply wasted. Does'nt make sense. I don't think there's going to be a Focus EV in my future for a long time, unless the government forces me to buy one.
