Martin Wolf argues against the notion that the eurozone will fail: “The big idea that brings members together is that of their place within Europe and the world... If this were a mere marriage of convenience, a messy divorce would seem probable. But it is far more than such a marriage, even if it will remain far less than a federal union. Outsiders should not underestimate the strength of the will behind it."

  • It will come down to "do the people believe it" not the will of politicians.

  • This is more than just a little naive to my simpleton way of thinking!

    If you look at history,
you do not see this continent as a peaceful,
lets all get along and help each other gain, "Social Justice" / "Fairness" dogma without some serious chance of war in the cards!

To think this will end well and in unity is preposterous!

You can stretch and hold a rubber band for only so long, but the laws of energy dictate it has to revert back to its original state, at rest!

R.I.P. is in order for a failed monetary union that was doomed with the signing of The Maastricht Treaty, none of its partners took it seriously, now we should!

After all this, the world is being asked to rescue a failed joke of epic proportions the people of the continent are not even in favor of saving?

    Surly you jest!

    Don't call me Shirley!
