Through Oracle is seeing strong demand for its high-end engineered systems, overall hardware sales fell 11% Y/Y in FQ3, as its older UNIX lines continue losing ground to Windows and Linux hardware. Yesterday, an ex-employee claimed top Oracle hardware salesmen are leaving en masse, partly due to internal dysfunction.
