  • Considering the record breaking warm spring, these numbers could eventually be quite disappointing, if some of quarter 2 business activity had been brought forward into q1. Isn't terrible mind and very solid from a European perspective. The big worry remains sustainability. How on earth do you maintain GDP numbers that high once these massive deficits eventually end?

  • Business investment down and Inventories up..now where, according to economic theory, does this take place in the business cycle? QE3 here we come; (cf/(1+i)) is going to make for a good rally in assets - fake, but good.

  • With the Spanish downgrade and25% unemployment and todays horrible GDP number you'd think we'd be down. Yet the future market is up. This market is incapable of trending down!!!! Stay long!!!

  • Here is a hint...look at postponable purchases to GDP...and its direction...direction is the leading indicator...
