Who, but an ignorant person, is going to let a website that estimates prices, and which doesn't have staff at the recorder of deeds office to collect deed information, determine what they pay for their biggest purchase?? Or what they rent a place for??

I don't see anywhere it is implied that people won't compare rental prices in their market on Craigslist. Or, they won't enlist a realtor when making a final purchase decision. It seems you are arguing against a straw man here.
