Revenue rose 9.7% Y/Y on strong demand in its less-than-truckload operations, and bottom line margins were helped by better overall cost controls. On its conference call CEO Doug Stotlar noted: "This first quarter was the steadiest demand first quarter I think I have experienced in my career," he says. "It was pretty miraculous." Other truckers getting a lift: Knight (KNGT +1.8%), JB Hunt (JBHT +0.7%), Werner (WERN +0.8%)
