This guy wants an "all of the above" strategy. All but coal, all but oil, all but natural gas. What's left solar, wind, hot air?
Coal is considered the "most dirty" of those while nat gas is considered the cleanest non-renewable or fossil fuel. I stayed away from coal mostly because of this even when Japan blew last year. However, alternative energy you can't play either (look at solar.....what a mess). What remains safe to play is oil - whether Obama likes it or not. Even he is driving a car I believe consuming gasoline.
I stay out of the politics on this one as I would have to write something very very long arguing why we need to build up renewable energy urgently.
It just doesn't seem to matter, if it comes out of the ground it's no good. Everyone knows the future is natural gas, why isn't our government throwing money at developing nat gas cars, trucks, and power plants. Ideology that's why.
