    A U.S. District Judge has ordered Apple (AAPL) and Samsung (SSNLF.PK) to reduce the enormous number of patent infringement complaints each has filed against the other for the second time, calling the current situation "cruel and unusual" for her court's jury. The order comes ahead of May 21-22 mediation talks involving Apple and Samsung's CEOs.

    Stupid and arbitrary. A claim is a claim and each must be judged on its merits. The judge needs to get busy!

    News Flash: Apple is going to be sued by Mother Nature. Apparently, the name "Apple" was already trademarked and it refers to a fruit. :-P
