Fidelity is showing expected First Call Consensus and StarMine estimates for earnings/share Loss of $0.17; CLNE reports loss of $0.16; therefore CLNE did not "missed" - CLNE "outperformed".
. I was impressed by Boone Picken's book "THE FIRST BILLION IS THE HARDEST" which I got for Christmas. Boon's talk today on the net was impressive. He mentioned that the fracked his first well after WWII in Borger (sp?) Texas. That was about the time and place when Eddie Childs got into fracking. I wonder if the two ever got together. Its great how it always takes an enterpreneur and not a corporate giant (like Kodak) to put a bright idea (like retailing NG) into practice. I hope that CLNE's EAP will go black soon. I am long on CLNE
Getting ready to buy in. With more and more CNG stations being built this year and next. It won't be long before they'll reach coast to coast. Already long on LNG and plan to add more.
If we were serious about reducing our national debt, why aren't we converting our military vehicles to CNG? Our military owns and leases 662,000 vehicles, with CNG 8 times cheaper than gas and 10 times cheaper than diesel. It would be a saving of billions of tax payers $.
I saw my first ATT Nat Gas van driving around in Dallas. Its clearly marked on the outside of the VAN, stating a GREEN Vehicle. I think that should help marketing Nat Gas, as the Vans are for cable installers and log alot of miles, so get alot of visibility. CLNE did the engine conversion as discussed on the conf call and is in bidding for the remainder, but even if they don't get, which would be a set back, it boasts well for Nat Gas and corporate / consumer awareness. First mover and T Boone help substantially. I would have liked to have seen stronger revenue though than only 13%. Emerging companies should really be growing it faster than that. Only in the 2nd inning though.
