Wednesday, May 9, 2012, 7:08 PM ETElectronic Arts (EA), which has been stepping up its in-house social gaming efforts, has formed a partnership with Insomniac Games in which it will publish the latter's Facebook title Outernauts. The tie-up is the first in which EA publishes a third-party title on Facebook. Separately, it looks as if EA is preparing to launch SimCity Social on Facebook next month. The Sims Social was a hit last year, but has seen usage tail off.
