Thursday, May 10, 2012, 6:20 PM ETLam Research (LCRX) is going to be removed from the S&P 400 and added to the S&P 500, replacing Novellus (NVLS) on a date to be announced. LRCX is acquiring NVLS in a deal expected to be completed soon pending final approvals. Royal Gold (RGLD) will be added to the S&P 400 in its place.
