    Solidarity with Greece will end if the country does not keep its commitments, says Angela Merkel, hitting the wires as she talks about another in a line of stinging election defeats for her party. Greece will "always" stay a member of the EU, she says. "What about EMU," asks ZH.

  • They could have changed the law on the old bonds. They can't do much about the new 'bailout' bonds.

    They had a way out, now they don't. That was the real goal of the 'bailout'. Making sure bondholders get their piece.

  • They owe to much...and their revenues are dropping also...bad mix....so when do they print..that is their only political option.....they could cut expenses...but they would lose their heads..so print it is..
