The latest comes from Taiwan's Liberty Times (translation), which notes a Macquarie report suggesting a smaller iPad could ship by the end of Q3, and with a 2012 production target of 6M units. It's added LG Display (LPL) and AU Optronics (AUO) have passed Apple's (AAPL) LCD panel certification tests for the product.
