  • 1 of 2 reasons . . .

    a) saw his bonus evaporating with European downturn, missing targets, etc . . so left
    b) Cook didn't like him so pushed him

  • Apple's EMEA Chief, Pascal Cagni, resigns; CEO, Cook, gives up $75 million dividends. Is anything happening at Apple that is worrisome?

  • This is healthy. Healthy for him and healthy for AAPL. Pascal peaked. Everyone does. He leaves on a high note and can take himself to a new level elsewhere. Now, a new Chief can build upon Pascal's success and take Apple EMEA to the next level and beyond. The timing is good.
